We are thrilled to present the new ZED-14 - a small format, USB-equipped stereo mixer for live and recording.The feature-set is incredibly advanced for a mixer at this level – it has 13 independent sources to the mix, 10 independent outputs, 4 aux sends, a USB send & return for PC or Mac recording, playback and effects, a unique dual stereo input capability and some very advanced monitoring facilities. In fact, ZED-14 is so packed full of great features that you’d think it would cost much, much more! It can be used for many different tasks, whether in live performance, utilizing plug-in effects via USB, live recording via USB and Cakewalk, studio recording or mixing down to produce your own 2-track recordings. What about the sound quality? Our chief designer, Mike Griffin, has been at the forefront of audio innovation for many years and has developed the designs for our spectacularly successful MixWizard and GL series professional live mixers. Mike is always striving to produce the best possible sound for our mixers, and for ZED has produced the ‘DuoPre™’, a mic preamplifier which sounds as sweet as a nut, as pure as the driven snow. The DuoPre™ combines an optimised line input circuit together with the microphone preamp circuit so that it will not colour or distort your sound, will give you lots of headroom and give you a truly professional feel.

Xone:S2 is a new analogue installation DJ mixer for use in clubs and bars, and by professional mobile DJ’s. It’s a 19” rack-mount 4U mixer featuring 4 stereo dual-input channels, 2 mono mic/stereo line channels, with a choice of linear or rotary VCA channel faders, along with the legendary Xone analogue filter and a host of other functions. Uniquely, a USB audio interface is provided, enabling easy integration of digital media. The USB interface can be used for playback and recording to or from the Xone:S2 anda computer, or used with software to act like a hardware effects unit. The Xone:S2 represents the ideal package for club installers, with many features designed to integrate it into a typical PA system, including an output limiter system that enables the installer to preset the maximum output level of the mixer. A dedicated alarm input mutes all music channels, and an alarm message audio input connection is provided. An additional stereo input (RCA) is accessible on the front panel - enabling guest DJs to patch in additional music sources.

When we decided to build a club mixer, we wanted to satisfy club techs and DJs alike. Xone:464 naturally shares its construction methods with our pro touring desks, so venues can depend on it for outstanding audio and reliability.

The Xone:42 is a new compact 4 -channel DJ mixer with USB audio interface, designed for DJ’s of all abilities and experience from top pro DJ’s to bedroom enthusiasts who want a compact quality mixer with pro features. Integral to the mixer’s design is a new feature – the ‘X-FX‘ control - allowing signal to be sent to external FX, and returned to be combined with the now legendary Xone VCF filter system. There’s even a USB port which allows easy connection to a computer and integration of digital media, which can be used to play back music files from a laptop and to record mixes, or used with software as a digital DJ effects unit.

The Xone:3D is a unique performance DJ controller that for the first time enables the seamless integration of computer-based digital media into the traditional DJ workspace. Combining a fully featured, high specification professional analogue DJ mixer with a comprehensive MIDI control system and a high end multi-channel USB soundcard, the Xone:3D has been designed in conjunction with some of the world’s most cutting-edge DJ/producers.

Is it us, or do most DJ mixers look like they’ve been designed by middle-aged failed guitarists who think all DJs are naughty 12 year-olds?? We’re a bit different. All the Xones are created by a design engineer with 20 years’ DJing experience under his belt, so they’re serious consoles for creative adults.

The Xone:2D is a combination of a 9 stereo channel USB 2.0 soundcard and MIDI controller, which DJ’s can combine with their existing analogue mixer to create a complete Digital DJ mixing system, perfect for integration with DJ software such as Ableton Live and Traktor DJ Studio. The 96kHz 24-bit USB 2.0 soundcard is provided with a large array of connections for easy interfacing into any DJ setup, while MIDI clocks are generated using the tap tempo button or by analysing the BPM of incoming audio, available from all input channels. One of the input channels can be switched between mic and line, while the unit is completed by a comprehensive onboard monitoring system.

The Xone:1D is a dedicated MIDI controller connected and powered by USB, which can be used to control DJ software such as Ableton Live and Traktor3. Use the Xone:1D with any DJ mixer to add digital control, or add the 1D to a Xone:2D to your favourite mixer to make up the equivalent to a Xone:3D! As well as the USB connection, the Xone:1D has 5-pin DIN MIDI sockets for connection to other MIDI-enabled devices, such as samplers, sequencers or recorders. In the same way as the acclaimed Xone:3D mixer/controller works, all the MIDI controls can be mapped to software for use as navigation controls, providing the user with the same tactile control of performance software.
