GL2000 FAQs
Q. What's the difference between the GL2000
and the GL2200?
A. GL2200 replaced the GL2000, introducing
a number of improvements based on feedback
from GL2000 users. These include:
- A completely revised power supply based
on switched-mode technology
- The option for a plug-in second power supply
for current-sharing and backup
- Direct outputs
- Metal-bodied TRS jack sockets rather than
plastic ones
- Mute switching on the groups, stereo returns
and main outs
- A 12V lamp connector
- An oscillator that provides a 1kHz sine-wave
or white noise for line-ups and checking
- An additional +6dB gain on the aux outputs
- The ability to send signal from the stereo
returns to the aux 1 and 2 busses via dedicated
level pots |
