Thank you for upgrading your Avantis to dPack.

You can now access premium dLive processing directly inside your Avantis, including Dyn8 (up to 16 instances), DEEP Compressors, exclusive RackExtra FX and the Dual Stage Valve Preamp, plus more models as they’re added.

Dynamic Processing

Dyn8

Dyn8 is a powerful and sophisticated processor boasting 4 bands of dynamic EQ and 4 bands of multiband compression. With endless applications including taming vocals, tightening sub-groups or adding sonic glue to a mix, Dyn8 changes the way we think about dynamic processing. dPack enables 16 Dyn8 engines for inserting on Input and Mix channels.

Here’s how to insert Dyn8

  1. In Bank view, select the INS A or INS B Processing Block on the desired channel
    INS A is pre-PEQ/COMP. INS B is post-PEQ/COMP.
  2. Select Dyn8 from the dropdown menu.
  3. Press Apply.

DEEP Compressors

Here’s how to insert a DEEP Compressor.

  1. In Bank view, press the Compressor processing block on the desired channel.
  2. Press the Library button.
  3. Select the desired compressor from the list and press Recall.

DEEP Preamp

Dual Stage Valve

100 years after their introduction to the world of audio, valves are still relied on daily by sound engineers all over the world for the vintage colour and euphonic distortion characteristics they impart upon audio signals.

Dual Stage Valve painstakingly models the behaviour of both pentode and triode topologies offering everything from a touch of warmth through to full-on valve crunch.

Here’s how to insert a DEEP Preamp.

  1. In Bank view, press the Preamp processing block on the desired channel.
  2. Press the Library button.
  3. Select the desired preamp from the list and press Recall.

RackExtra FX

Here’s how to assign RackExtra FX.

  1. Press the FX in the Scene Mode menu on the left hand side of the screen.
  2. Select an FX slot from the 12 available.
  3. Press the Library button.
  4. Select the desired FX model from the list and press Recall.

To add as an insert, additionally follow these steps:

  1. Select the INS A or INS B Processing Block on the desired channel.
  2. Select Rack FX from the dropdown menu.
  3. Select the FX slot, from 1 to 12, that you want to use as the insert.
  4. Press Apply.
