GLD Firmware Release 1.61

Previous Version - Released February 2018

Why am I seeing 1.61?

We are currently investigating an issue regarding expanders in use with GLD. If you are not using an expander that requires V1.62 to operate, you should continue using V1.61.

Currently only AR2412 units with a serial number greater than 1006547 require V1.62.

MIDI Control

Allen & Heath MIDI Control allows compatible Allen & Heath mixers to control DAW software on Mac OS or Windows and emulate popular HUI or Mackie Control protocols. It can also be used to control the mixer as detailed by its MIDI Protocol.

For further information and to download please click here.

A&H TCP MIDI Driver Installer

The TCP MIDI Driver allows the GLD or iLive MIDI Protocol to be communicated over an Ethernet connection to a computer. By installing the driver, a virtual MIDI port will be available for DAW control or similar applications. The driver has options to connect to an iLive or GLD on the network.

Please note – a MIDI Thru map is now included in A&H MIDI Control. The A&H TCP MIDI Driver is deprecated. Existing users don’t need to update to MIDI Control, but we recommend new users to download MIDI Control instead.

For the GLD MIDI Protocol specifications please see here.
