dLive On Tour With Sam Fender
We catch up with engineers Peter Fergie (FOH) and Terry Smith (Mons) who are currently on tour with British singer-songwriter Sam Fender.
The duo talk us through their dLive rigs and detail some of the DEEP Processing tools used on the Seventeen Going Under tour.
Both engineers express their love for the Dual Threshold Expander, introduced in firmware V1.9, which they primarily use to reduce the risk of feedback through the vocal microphones. Peter also explains how he uses the Tube Stage Preamp to warm up certain acoustic instruments during the show and how he uses the Scene system to change parameters on the fly.
