Our culture is founded on open-thinking and open-minds, finding new and innovative ways to look at the challenges faced by the customers we serve.

From creatives who are streaming from home, to major events, we're always looking for ways to make audio lives easier.

So if you have a passion for fresh thinking, you'll fit right in.

Meet some of the team

Antony Jackson

Antony (Jacko) Jackson
Software Development Manager

As a guitar player with a background in electronics, I’ve been lucky enough to combine my love of music and technology working at Allen & Heath. I started here way back in 1992, been involved in developing amazing products with a great team of people, and most importantly I have been able to raise my wonderful family here in Cornwall. When I’m not at work you’ll find me cycling and windsurfing, and for the record I’m pretty good at table football too – just ask the team here!

Joey Wang
Digital Signal Processing Engineer

Born and raised in Taiwan, I came to the UK to study music technology and soon after graduating I joined the company as DSP design engineer. Having also worked in live sound, Allen & Heath provides me the perfect opportunity to put in practice what I have learnt at university and as a live engineer. I have only been here two years but feel like I am going to stay in here for a long time. I even bought a house in this beautiful, laid-back, and warm place, and the work-life balance here is fantastic and I have met a lot of great and brilliant people too. I am very happy to be part of such an exciting and fun industry.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Born and bred in ‘pasty land’ I never wanted to stray far from my love of sea and water sports. I studied Product Design locally and started at Allen & Heath in 2009. Teamwork is everything here, so working with a group of talented people discussing projects feels really progressive. Likewise, getting to hang out during breaks, socialising after work and getting a group together to go surfing or wakeboarding is fun too. There is never a dull moment. If somebody had told me that I was going to be a design engineer at a world leading audio mixing company in Cornwall, I wouldn’t have believed them!

Amelia Brewer
Management Accountant

I came to the UK in 2000 from East Java, Indonesia, initially to study music and to become a music teacher. With a slight career detour, I ended up gaining an ACCA qualification to become a Chartered Certified Accountant, and I’ve been working at Allen & Heath since 2014. It’s a great place to work, with opportunity to develop and to make the most of the amazing location. The company is also very forward thinking not just in terms of technology and products, but how they treat their staff and encouraging an inclusive team atmosphere and culture. In my spare time when I’m not walking on the Cornish coastal paths and beaches, you will find me baking and enjoying my first love, the piano.

We know you don't live for work. Nor do we expect it! We’re all about work / life balance – combining all the advantages of living in a fantastic environment with being part of a leading edge global company.

We’re lucky enough to be situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the United Kingdom, just a few minutes’ drive from the beach and from the tranquillity of Cornwall’s stunning coastline. Trust us, it doesn't suck.

Nearby Falmouth is a colourful university town, known for its bars, restaurants and thriving music scene.

Our HQ in Penryn, affectionately known as ‘The MixPad’, was completely redeveloped in 2016 to create the optimal environment for our Research and Development teams. As well as spacious, modern offices and test facilities we have created meeting and social spaces to encourage the team members to collaborate and relax.

Driving change and empowering all

Always looking to the future, we want to drive change in all aspects of our business. Hands up - we acknowledge that our industry has work to do in addressing diversity shortcomings - and we're already well on that journey.

As an equal opportunity employer, we seek out great talent, regardless of religion, ethnicity, age, disability, nationality, sexual orientation or gender identity.

We're also committed to empowering our people, understanding their personal goals and actively helping the develop with strong mentorship and supporting further education.

Engaging in our community

Cornwall is an area renowned for its thriving creative scene, but it's also an area where many face economic challenges.

We play an active role in our local community. Many key members of the Allen & Heath team are experienced sound engineers and have strong ties to the local scene, regularly supporting local music and theatre events, charities and schools.

Through our outreach program we attend numerous educational facilities and support their work.

We also support local charities, particularly those involving young people and music, such as the Livewire Youth Project in Saltash that helps young people learn all about music making and tech.
