JOB SUMMARY

Electronic circuit designer for Audio Mixing Consoles.

KEY DUTIES
  • Design innovative, cost-effective, fully featured electronic audio circuits for analogue and digital audio mixing products.
  • Full involvement in progressing product concepts into design. Producing circuit ideas and costings. Assessing conceptual product layout and architecture.
  • Work on a variety of design challenges in innovative circuit design, component selection, circuit and system evaluation and performance assessment.
  • Design and develop product prototypes, perform evaluation and involvement in final design sign-off and specification for mass production.
  • Working in a structured, motivated and friendly product development team. Liaison with project and mechanical engineers, PCB layout, Compliance and production engineering.
  • Produce leading edge world-class audio mixing products.
Qualifications

Degree/HND in Electronic Engineering or an equivalent Computer/Electronic related qualification.

Essential Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Analogue Electronic Design. Transistor/Op-amp circuits/DC-DC Power supplies
  • Experience in ECAD Systems (preferably Altium)
  • Enjoy engineering, problem solving. Enthusiasm for electronic product design.
  • Keen to work in a team, utilising other team skills to enhance the overall performance of the department.
  • Keen to work collaboratively to further personal skills within the team.
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to achieve excellent results in product design and development.
Desirable Experience
  • Audio technology/product design. Audio system evaluation and Audio performance measurement.
  • Digital audio circuit design. Knowledge of audio ADCs and DACs and digital audio clock systems. Bluetooth, WiFi.
  • Experience of power supply design (switch mode converters)
  • Compliance Engineering EMC/ESD, 62368.
  • A keen interest in audio products and technology.
