ME Personal Mixing for Houses of Worship

It’s All About the Message

Worship music is a key element of contemporary services, so the message in the music should be crystal clear for your congregation. Personal monitoring improves the quality of the performance and the clarity of the audio.

Worship music is a key element of contemporary services, so the message in the music should be crystal clear for your congregation. Personal monitoring delivers two major benefits to improve the quality of the performance and the clarity of the audio:

Lower Stage Levels
Lower sound levels on the stage result in a better quality front-of-house (FoH) mix for your congregation, with consistent clarity throughout your sanctuary.

Perfect Monitor Mixes
Musicians perform their best when they have a great monitor mix in their ears, empowering them to focus on engaging with the congregation.

Empower Performers

Give Worship Musicians Control of Their Monitor Mix

The ME Personal Mixing System puts the worship musician in control of their monitor mix with a compact mixer that’s easily mounted on a microphone stand within arm’s reach.
Performers simply connect their monitor, whether that’s IEMs, headphones, or even a wedge, to the output of the ME mixer and they’re ready to go. An integrated limiter ensures the musician’s ears are protected from any unexpected signal peaks.

User presets can store settings for different performers who want to save their carefully crafted mixes or provide a “starting point” for new performers. Presets can also be saved to a USB thumb drive so they can be moved between mixers easily.
ME mixers can be powered by an external power supply, or via PoE to minimise the number of cables running across the stage.

An Improved Experience

Everyone Wins With ME

The benefits of personal monitoring in houses of worship are wide-ranging and improve the experience for everyone.
The congregation get a clearer, higher-quality sound throughout the venue thanks to the reduced stage levels.
There’s less stress and responsibility for your technical staff & volunteers and more time to focus on the sound and visuals out front.
And performers receive the personalised mix they need to perform to their best, week after week.

Case Study

Welcome Church, UK

Welcome Church based in Woking, UK, rely on 14 ME-1 Personal Mixers to handle musician’s monitor mixes for their in-house worship band. The ME system connects directly to the FOH mixer, an Allen & Heath Avantis with GX4816 and DX168 expanders.

At Welcome Church, we’ve been using the ME system for around five years now. It’s been rock solid and it’s user-friendly, but the big bonus for me as the FoH engineer is time-saving. Previously we’d spend a long time getting the in-ear mix right for the musicians, now we don’t worry about it, they simply plug in and off they go. Plus they can change the mix whenever they want, allowing me more time to concentrate on the room!
Charles C, Production Lead
I’ve been using the ME-1 system for a number of years now, I can appreciate how much they have helped me keep complete control of my levels; even in complex band setups. I made the switch to custom-moulded IEMs a few years ago, and feel fully confident trusting the ME-1 with my mix, knowing I can make changes quickly if needed.
